Weigh in Motion Replacement Project on State Route Highway 37 Continues through October 1, 2020

Marin County- Caltrans (District 4) will begin Weigh in Motion work in order to replace the traffic counting system on along the East and Westbound sides of State Route Highway 37 (SR-37) starting on June 5, 2020.

The expected date of completion for the Weigh in Motion project is October 1,2020. To fully update the traffic analysis system the Caltrans team will also perform the following tasks:

  • Removal of existing weigh scales
  • Removal of unused beam and padding
  • Installation of traffic signs
  • New road striping

Changeable message signs will be used to keep motorists informed about upcoming road work.
