Project location map for the pavement preservation project on State Route 12 in Solano County. The projects starts at Postmile 14.1 and ends at Postmile 20.7.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Lead Agency for the California Environmental Quality Act, is issuing a Notice of Availability of the Initial Study with proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND), Notice of Intent to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration, and Notice of Opportunity for a Public Meeting.

What is Being Planned?

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to repair pavement, widen shoulders, and improve drainage systems on State Route 12 between postmiles (PM) 14.10 and 20.68, approximately 5.5 miles east of Suisun City and 2.2 miles west of Rio Vista. Rehabilitating the roadway would improve ride quality and drainage, reduce repetitive maintenance activities, and preserve and extend the life of the pavement.

Why This Ad?

Caltrans has studied the proposed project and has determined that there would not be any significant impacts to environmental resources as a result of the project.
