Napa County – Caltrans is excited to announce the early completion of Phase 1 of the Culvert Improvement Replacement Project between Rutherford Road and Oakville Cross Road in Rutherford, Napa County. Both lanes are now open to two-way traffic. The temporary signals have been removed and speed reduction/radar feedback (35 MPH) and bicycles share the road signage has been installed.
Phase 2 begins on March 25, 2026, and is scheduled to be completed in June. During this time, two traffic lanes will be available for motorists' use. Construction activities will continue Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM until project completion.
All work is weather dependent.
