Santa Clara County - Beginning Monday, August 18, in preparation for Phase II of the State Route 17 Main Street Overcrossing Project, Caltrans will be moving the k-rail for Phase II. This work is necessary to provide space for forming and pouring the barrier and sidewalk on the south side of Main Street.

As part of this stage, parking spaces on both sides of the Main Street bridge will be temporarily unavailable to the public for approximately two to three weeks. Pedestrian access will be available. Caltrans plans to reopen the parking spaces on the south side of the bridge on Monday, September 8, 2025.

We appreciate the public’s patience as we work to improve safety and infrastructure in the Los Gatos community. Construction activities will continue take place Monday through Friday. Project scheduled to be complete December 2025.

No parking signs are in place. The sidewalk will still be open and available for pedestrians.
