Overnight Paving Operations for State Route 82/El Camino Real Rehabilitation Project at Sand Hill Road, Palo Alto, Santa Clara County begins the week of Monday, Sept. 9, starting at 9:00 PM

Caltrans workers and paving machine working on pavement and ADA improvements on State Route 82 El Camino Real, between south of State Route-237, Mountain View to Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park/Palo Alto.

Santa Clara County –Caltrans will continue paving operations during the week of September 9., on southbound State Route 82/EL Camino Real (SR-82/ECR) as a part of the SR-82 Rehabilitation Pavement Project beginning at Sand Hill Road, in the city of Palo Alto. Crews will be grinding and paving in both directions in segments moving south. The work activities will be conducted overnight, and lane closure will be required.

Work is weather dependent. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time when traveling.

Beginning the week of September 9, vehicles will not be permitted to park on SR-82 along the project location from Sand Hill Road to San Antonio Avenue. “No Parking” signs will be posted.

The public will have limited and/or restricted access to sidewalks, curb ramps and several driveways while this work is taking place.

Southbound Lanes:
Monday to Friday:
9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Northbound Lanes:
Monday to Friday:
10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
