Southbound/Northbound Closure July 20, to July 22
San Jose – On July 20, 2023, Caltrans will begin the State Route 87 (SR87) Pavement Improvement project. The project will begin with overnight lane closures on both the southbound and northbound directions of SR-87 between Julian Street undercrossing and State Route 85 (SR-85), in the city of San Jose, Santa Clara County. The purpose of the project is to improve ride quality, enhance safety, and extend the service life of the pavement. CMS signs and detours will be in place. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time.

Thursday, July 20, 7:00 PM to Friday, July 21, 5:00 AM
Friday, July 21, 8:00 PM to Saturday, July 22, 7:00 AM
