Santa Clara County – Beginning March 2023, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in partnership with the City of Saratoga and the County of Santa Clara will begin construction of the new Saratoga Creek Bridge Rehabilitation project, on Highway 9 (HWY9), in the city of Saratoga, Santa Clara County.
The project will maintain safe and stable connectivity along State Route 9 between the City of Saratoga in Santa Clara County and the community of Felton in Santa Cruz County. The existing bridge will be replaced in response to an investigation by Caltrans' Office of Structure Maintenance and Investigation. The new bridge will retain the outer, visible, portion of the original stone bridge. Project is scheduled to be complete December 2023.
