Description
The project is funded by the SHOPP 151 Drainage System Restoration program. The project is located on State Route 49 in Nevada County (PM 0.0/7.5) and two locations on SR 49 in Placer County (PM 8.42 & 10.23). The project scope will rehabilitate a total of 22 culverts and 13 corrugated steel pipe (CSP) down drains.
Project Benefits
Purpose: To rehabilitate existing drainage systems showing damage or needing remedial treatments to preserve and extend their service life.
Need: Many of the drainage systems within the project limits are nearing the end of their service life.
Funding Breakdown
This project was programmed in the 2018 SHOPP and will receive construction funding in the 2021-22 fiscal year.
