Description
Widening of the inside shoulder of the curve to eight feet, installation of culverts, new lighting, and removal of existing vegetation to improve sight distance is being considered in Capay. Bulb-outs, intersection lighting, and upgrading of curb ramps to are being considered within the community of Esparto.
Project Benefits
In Capay, this project will benefit the travelers by improving the sight distance and providing a consistent shoulder width. In Esparto, this project will benefit users by improving pedestrian visibility, reducing the intersection crossing distance for pedestrians, upgrading pedestrian facilities to be in accordance with ADA requirements.
