Van Brimmer Pavement Overlay Project on State Route 161 in Siskiyou County

The Project:

The Van Brimmer Cold In-Place Recycling Project will provide a pavement overlay utilizing cold-in-place recycling on approximately 2.5 miles of State Route 161 in Siskiyou County approximately 3.4 miles west of Tulelake, from 0.2 mile west of South Merrill Road to 0.3 mile west of Hill Road.

Project Includes:

Performing 0.33’ cold-in-place recycling and placing 0.15’ hot mix asphalt overlay in project area, shoulder backing, and striping.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 20 working days for this project, all which will require traffic control. Construction is currently scheduled for 2024.
