Schaffer Mt. Chip Project on State Route 299 in Modoc County

The Project:

The Schaffer Mt. Chip Project will provide an asphalt rubber chip seal on State Route 299 in Modoc County near Canby, from just east of County Road 85 to 1.7 miles west of the junction with State Route 139.

Project Includes:

The project will place an asphalt rubber chip seal on SR 299 in the project area, along with isolated areas of concrete dig outs, grinding, and striping.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 20 working days for this project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is currently scheduled for 2024.
