Moon Lake Overlay Project on U.S. 395 in Lassen County

The Project:

The Moon Lake Overlay Project will provide pavement preservation on U.S. 395 in Lassen County near Madeline, from 0.8 mile north to 3.8 miles north of Ash Valley Road.

Project Includes:

The project will provide a thin hot mix asphalt overlay with isolated areas of concrete dig outs on U.S. 395 in the project area. The project will also include shoulder backing, capping or replacement of existing asphalt dikes, and the removal and replacement of thermoplastic markings and striping.  All work will be conducted on the existing roadway area and no work will be performed on bridge decks.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 25 working days for this project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is currently scheduled for 2024.
