Dibble Creek CAPM

The Project:

The Dibble Creek CAPM project in Tehama County is on State Route (SR) 36 near Red Bluff, from 0.8 mile east of Salt Creek Bridge to Baker Road.

Project Benefits:

The purpose of the project is to restore the facility to a state of good repair such that the roadway will be in a condition that improves maintainability over the 10-year pavement design life. The project will serve to preserve, repair, and extend the life of the existing pavement, as well as improve ride quality, maintain conveyance of drainage, and improve public/worker safety.

 

Project Includes:

This project includes pavement and facility upgrades to include paving, guardrail replacement and upgrades, new delineation and signage, and culvert repair and replacement. The rehabilitation of the roadway includes eliminating current alligator, longitudinal, and traverse cracking. In addition, the project will upgrade signage, striping, guardrail, and structure approach rail lengths to current standards.

Current Project Schedule:

It is estimated this project will take 80 workings days, with one-way traffic control through the project limits with 10-15 minute delays. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer.
