Del Loma Pavement Project on State Route 299 in Trinity County

The Project:

The Del Loma Pavement Project is on State Route 299, in Trinity County, from 1 mile east of the Trinity River Bridge to 1.5 miles east of Little French Creek.

Project Benefits:

The purpose of the project is to restore the roadway to a state of good repair so that it will be in a condition that requires minimal maintenance.

Project Includes:

This project includes extending the life of the pavement, updating key traffic management elements, upgrading guardrail, widening narrow lanes (which includes the installation of a retaining wall on the eastbound shoulder), repairing a box culvert, and replacing 16 other culverts.

Current Project Schedule:

It is estimated this project will take 160 working days, all requiring traffic control. Construction is expected to be completed by October of 2025.
