SAN DIEGO —Caltrans maintenance crews will close northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) at the La Jolla Parkway off-ramp Tuesday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to begin construction of a new concrete barrier.
The detour will continue north on I-5, exit at La Jolla Village Drive, turn left onto La Jolla Scenic Drive and turn right onto La Jolla Parkway.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
