SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close the eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for maintenance.
Eastbound I-8 motorists may exit at Texas Street/Qualcomm Way and turn left to westbound I-8 to southbound SR-163.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
