Detour signs will be posted directing westbound motorists on Cole Road, on the east side of the SR-111, to turn north onto Rockwood Avenue/Yourman Road or turn south onto Rockwood Avenue.
Eastbound travelers on Cole Road, to the west of SR-111, will be directed around the closure to turn north onto West Van De Graaff Avenue or to turn south onto Scaroni Avenue.
Motorists on SR-111 approaching the Cole Road intersection can expect slower traffic flow during construction activities and are advised to allow additional travel time.
On Wednesday through Tuesday, February 5, work will continue in the city of Calexico on SR-111 at the intersection with State Route 98.
