Tuolumne County Vista Point To Temporarily Close During Construction
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is set to begin a project to upgrade fencing at two scenic vista points on State Route 120 overlooking Don Pedro Reservoir.
During construction, the vista points on either side of the James E. Roberts Memorial Bridge will close starting the week of August 18, 2025. They are expected to reopen in mid-to-late September, with signage posted to inform the public of the temporary closures.
The project will replace the concrete fencing with new steel fencing, improving safety and durability.
John Semsen Landscaping of Sonora, CA will perform the work on this $292,400 project.
