Closures On State Routes 132, 99, And Interstate 5
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 132 (SR-132), State Route 99 (SR-99), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 99
Closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound and southbound of SR-99 between Maze Boulevard and Carpenter Road for median barrier work beginning Tuesday, August 6, through Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Full, long-term closures of the vending machine buildings at the northbound and southbound Enoch Christofferson Rest Areas for renovations. The project is expected to last through the fall of 2024.
Interstate 5
Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work. Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.
State Route 132
Overnight, one-way traffic control on SR-132 at the Old Fisherman’s Club, west of Modesto, for drainage work beginning Sunday, August 4, through Friday, August 9, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
Overnight, alternating lane closures on eastbound and westbound SR-132 between El Vista Avenue and Trask Lane in Modesto for utility work beginning Sunday, August 4, through Friday, August 9, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Lane shifts between Reinway Avenue and F Street/Hickman Road on SR-132 in Waterford for construction work beginning Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Note: Construction is expected to continue through the fall of 2024.
