Closures on State Routes 99, 108, 120, 132, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound SR-99 at the Enoch Christoffersen Rest Areas in Turlock for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 12, through Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Full closure of the northbound onramp from Mitchell Road in Ceres for shoulder work on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Full closure of the southbound offramp to I Street in Modesto for landscape work on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

State Route 108

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control at First Street in Riverbank for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 12, through Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures at State Route 219 and Ladd Road near Modesto and Crane Road in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 12, through Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 120

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control at State Route 108 (F Street) in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 12, through Friday, October 17, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Eucalyptus Avenue and Reinway Avenue in Waterford for curb and sidewalk work beginning Sunday, October 12, through Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.
