Various Closures On Interstate 5 & State Routes 4, 33, 99 & 132

Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5, State Route 4 (SR-4), SR-33, SR-99, and SR-132 for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 4

State Route 33

  • One-way traffic control from Yolo Street to Fink Road/Crows Landing Road for core drilling beginning Tuesday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 99

  • Full on-ramp closure from Second Street to southbound SR-99 for tree work on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control at the new Emerald Avenue Under-crossings for k-rail removal beginning Tuesday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
  • Note: This project is expected to continue through summer 2026.
