Various Closures On Interstate 5 - State Routes 4, & 99
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 and State Routes 4 (SR-4), and SR-99for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 4
- Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from the San Joaquin/Stanislaus County line to Hoods Creek for drainage work beginning Sunday, June 28, through Thursday, July 2, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 5
- Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work. Note: This project is expected to continue through summer 2026.
State Route 99
- Moving closures of the #1 (left) and #3 (right) lanes of northbound and southbound SR-99 between the Merced County line and the San Joaquin County line for a sweeping operation beginning Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
- Long-term right shoulder closure from G Street/9th Street to H Street/9th Street for curb/sidewalk work through June 30, 2026.
