Various Closures On Interstate 5 - State Routes 4, 99, & 132
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 and State Routes 4 (SR-4), SR-99, and SR-132 for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 4
- Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from the San Joaquin/Stanislaus County line to Hoods Creek for drainage work beginning Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 5
- Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work. Note: This project is expected to continue through summer 2026.
State Route 99
- Moving closure of the #3 (right) lane of northbound and southbound SR-99 between the Merced County line and the San Joaquin County line for pavement repair on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
- Partial closure of the northbound SR-99 on-ramp from Hammett Road for electrical work beginning Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 132
- Long-term right shoulder closure from G Street/9th Street to H Street/9th Street for curb/sidewalk work through June 30, 2026.
