Closures On Interstate 5 And Route 33

Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 33 (SR-33) and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work to occur as follows:

Interstate 5

• Overnight, alternating lane closures between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, April 27, through Friday, May 2, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
• Overnight, full closure of the on-ramp to northbound I-5 from Ingram Creek Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, April 27, through Friday, May 2, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
• Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
  Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

Route 33

• One-way traffic control from Merced County to San Joaquin County for pavement work beginning Monday, April 28, through Friday, May 2, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
