Various Closures On Interstate 5 And State Routes 99, 108 & 120
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 and State Routes 99 (SR-99), SR-108 and SR-120 for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County. Work will occur as follows:
Interstate 5
- Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.
State Route 99
- Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Keyes Road to northbound SR-99 for pavement work beginning Sunday, March 1, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Overnight, full off-ramp closures from northbound SR-99 at Hatch Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, March 1, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Kansas Avenue to southbound SR-99 for pavement work beginning Sunday, March 1, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
State Route 108
- Overnight, one-way traffic control from 8th Street to Mesa Drive for guardrail work beginning Sunday, March 1, through Tuesday, March 3, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
State Route 120
- Overnight, one-way traffic control at Atlas Road for electrical work beginning Sunday, March 1, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
