Various Closures On Interstate 5 And State Routes 108 & 120
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 and State Routes 108 (SR-108) and SR-120 for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County. Work will occur as follows:
Interstate 5
- Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.
State Route 108
- Overnight, one-way traffic control from 8th Street to Mesa Drive for k-rail installation beginning Sunday, February 22, through Wednesday, February 25, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
State Route 120
- Overnight, one-way traffic control at Atlas Road for construction beginning Sunday, February 22, through Friday, February 27, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
