State Route 4 – Ramp Closures
Overnight On-Ramp Closures On Crosstown Freeway

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, intermittent full on-ramp closures on eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Stanislaus Street and at El Dorado Street, and on westbound SR-4 at Wilson Way, for k-rail installation beginning Monday, December 1, through Friday, December 5, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Hammer Lane To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Monday, December 1, through Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Monday, December 1, through Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 99 – Lane Closures
Overnight Full Highway Closures In Manteca

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full closures of northbound SR-99 at Austin Road for bridge work beginning Tuesday, December 2, through Friday, December 5, from 10:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full closures of southbound SR-99 at Austin Road for bridge work beginning Tuesday, December 2, through Friday, December 5, from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight closures of the #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes of northbound SR-99 at SR-120/Yosemite Avenue for bridge work beginning Monday, December 1, through Thursday, December 4, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Wilson Way to northbound SR-99 for falsework removal beginning Monday, December 1, through Saturday, December 6, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Long-term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge repair work. Estimated completion date is late December 2025. Please seek alternate route.

State Route 120 – Ramp Closures
Overnight Connector Ramp Closures In Manteca

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector ramp closures from eastbound SR-120/Yosemite Avenue to southbound SR-99 for bridge work beginning Monday, December 1, through Friday, December 5, from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
