Interstate 5 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Monte Diablo Avenue To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound I-5 from Monte Diablo Avenue to Smith Canal for electrical work beginning Monday, June 30, through Thursday, July 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, June 29, through Thursday, July 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, June 29, through Thursday, July 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 26 – Lane Closures
Closures For Shoulder Work

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Closure of the #2 (right) lane and right shoulder on westbound SR-26/Fremont Street at SR-99 for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, July 1, through Thursday, July 3, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 99 – Ramp And Lane Closures
Overnight Lane Closures On Northbound Sr-99 In Stockton

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Closure of the #3 (right) lane and right shoulder from Main Street to Fulton/Milgeo Avenue, and the Fulton/Milgeo Avenue off-ramp on northbound SR-99 for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 1, through Wednesday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Overnight, alternating closures of the #1 (left), #2 (middle) and #3 (right) lanes of northbound SR-99 from Cherokee Road to Hammer Lane for bridge work at the Calaveras River Overcrossing beginning Sunday, June 2, through Monday, June 30, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full closures of the Wilson Way on-ramp to northbound SR-99 beginning Sunday, June 2, through Monday, June 30, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Long term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge work. Estimated completion date for bridge repairs is June 2025. Please seek alternate route.

State Route 132 – Ramp Closures
Closures At Chrisman Road For Construction

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 132 (SR-132) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on westbound SR-132, and full off-ramp closures on eastbound SR-132 at Chrisman Road for excavation work beginning Monday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 1, from 5:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. (westbound) and from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound.)
