Interstate 5 – Lane & Ramp Closures From Hammer Lane To Sacramento County Line  

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County.  Work will occur as follows:

• Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Wednesday, May 28, through Friday, May 30, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

   

• Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Wednesday, May 28, through Friday, May 30, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. State Route 88 – Lane Closures

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

• One-way traffic control at Calaveras River for bridge work beginning Tuesday, May 27, through Thursday, May 29, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

State Route 99 – Ramp And Lane Closures
Overnight Full Closure Of Northbound Sr-99 In Stockton - May 31, 2025

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County.  Work will occur as follows:  

• Overnight, full closure of northbound SR-99 from SR-88/Waterloo Road to Hammer Lane for bridge work at the Calaveras River Overcrossing beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, until 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 1.

   

• Overnight closures of the #1 (left), #2 (middle) and #3 (right) lanes of northbound SR-99 from Cherokee Road to Hammer Lane for bridge work at the Calaveras River Overcrossing beginning Tuesday, May 27, through Friday, May 30, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

   

• Overnight, full closures of the SR-88/Waterloo Road, Cherokee Road and Wilson Way on-ramps to northbound SR-99 beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, until 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 1.

   

• Long term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge work. Estimated completion date for bridge repairs is June 2025. Please seek alternate route.

Closure Of The Chrisman Road For Construction

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 132 (SR-132) for maintenance and construction operations.  Work will occur as follows:

• Overnight, full off-ramp closures from SR-132 at Chrisman Road for excavation work beginning Wednesday, May 28, through Friday, May 30, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 5:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. (westbound.) 

Interstate 580 – Lane And Ramp Closures At Patterson Pass Road For Construction 

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations.  Work will occur as follows:

• Overnight closures of the #2 (right) lane of eastbound and westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass Road for construction beginning Thursday, May 29, through, Friday, May 30, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. (westbound.)

   

• Overnight, full off-ramp closures from eastbound and westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass Road for construction beginning Thursday, May 29, through, Friday, May 30, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. (westbound.)

   

• Overnight, full on-ramp closure from International Parkway/Patterson Pass Road to westbound I-580 for construction beginning Thursday, May 29, through, Friday, May 30, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.
