State Route 4 – Ramp & Lane Closures
Overnight Ramp Closures On Crosstown Freeway In Stockton

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector ramp closure from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway to Interstate 5 for pavement repairs on Sunday, March 23, from 12:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closure from Center Street to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for pavement repairs on Sunday, March 23, from 12:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closure from Wilson Way to eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for k-rail installation beginning Monday, March 24, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Filbert Street to SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for k-rail installation beginning Monday, March 24, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (westbound.)

Interstate 5 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Mathews Road To County Line

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Mathews Road to northbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound I-5 at Mathews Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures at French Camp Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from northbound I-5 at Downing Avenue for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on southbound I-5 at Downing Avenue for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • 55-hour full weekend closures of the Eight Mile Road on-ramp and Hammer Lane off-ramp to southbound I-5 for construction beginning on Friday, March 28, at 10:00 p.m. until Monday, March 31, at 5:00 a.m.

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 12 – Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control In Wallace

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control at Cord Road for pavement work beginning Monday, March 24, through Thursday, March 27, from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 99 – Ramp And Lane Closures
Overnight Full Closures Of Southbound Sr-99 In Manteca

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full closures of southbound SR-99 at Austin Road for bridge work beginning Monday, March 24, through Friday, March 28, from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
    • DETOUR: Motorists will exit from southbound SR-99 using the Austin Road off-ramp. Turn left at Moffat Boulevard and take the on-ramp to return to southbound SR-99.
  • Overnight, alternating closures of the #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes of northbound SR-99 from Jack Tone Road to SR-120/Yosemite Avenue for bridge work beginning Monday, March 24, through Friday, March 28, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Long term closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge work. Motorists will only be able to cross the SR-99/Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing from the east side of SR-99 to the west. West Frontage Road is closed to southbound through traffic. East Frontage Road will be open to travel. Estimated completion date for bridge repairs is May 2025. Please seek alternate route.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound SR-99 at Austin Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 23, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 120 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Overnight One-Way Traffic Control Near Escalon

San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control on SR-120 from French Camp Road to Carrolton Road for utility work beginning Monday, March 24, through Friday, March 28, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
