State Route 4 – Ramp Closure
One-Way Traffic Control At Several Locations
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- One-way traffic control on westbound SR-4 at Levee Road for sign work on Thursday, January 15, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
- Overnight, one-way traffic control on eastbound SR-4 from the San Joaquin River (Garwood Bridge) to Cordes Ranch Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, January 11, through Friday, January 16, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
Interstate 5 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Route 120 To Sacramento County Line
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- Full connector ramp closure from southbound I-5 to eastbound SR-120/Manteca Bypass for slope repairs on Tuesday, January 13, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, January 11, through Friday, January 16, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
- Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, January 11, through Friday, January 16, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 12 – Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control In Clements
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- One-way traffic control from Johnson Road to Cord Road for slope repair beginning Monday, January 12, through Thursday, January 15, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 26 – Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control In Stockton
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- One-way traffic control on SR-26/Fremont Street from Ellen Street to Baldwin Lane for utility work beginning Monday, January 12, through Saturday, January 16, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
