One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following traffic controls on State Route 49 (SR-49) in Mariposa County. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Ashworth Road to Varain Road for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, October 21, through Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Old Highway 49 to Bear Valley Point for utility work on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
