Alpine County

No Traffic Controls Scheduled Next Week

Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following striping operations and utility work next week on State Route 4 (SR-4), State Route 88 (SR-88), and State Route 89 (SR-89). Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 4

  • Conventional moving highway closure from SR-4/89 Junction to the Calaveras/Alpine County line for pavement striping operations beginning Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 88

  • Conventional moving highway closure from SR-4/89 Junction to the Calaveras/Alpine County line for pavement striping operations beginning Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 89

  • Conventional moving highway closure from the Alpine/Mono County line to SR-88 East/Woodfords for striping operations beginning Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    One-way traffic control from SR-88 West/Pickets to the Alpine/El Dorado County line for utility work beginning Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 13, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
