Alpine County
No Traffic Controls Scheduled
Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following striping operations next week on State Route 4 (SR-4). Work is scheduled as follows:
- Conventional moving highway closure from SR-4/89 Junction to Ebbetts Peak for pavement striping operations beginning Tuesday, May 27, through Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
