Caltrans Update On Roadway Maintenance Project On State Routes 104 And 124 Near City Of Ione
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is preparing to perform corrective treatment of recent chip seal pavement work completed on State Routes 104 (SR-104) and SR-124 near the city of Ione:

The work will require one-way traffic control of SR-104 from Tregaski Lane to Foothill Boulevard for approximately one night and one full day. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. the night of Wednesday, October 9, 2024, and continue all day Thursday, October 10, 2024, until 8 p.m.
Once completed, the project will have repaired damaged sections of the roadway surface, replaced existing drainage inlets to reduce potential stormwater pooling on the roadway, and refreshed all pavement striping and delineation.
Schedules are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.
