Celebrate Bike Month with a Community Ride on the Virginia Corridor Trail

 

Modesto – Get ready to pedal for a purpose as Caltrans District 10 invites cyclists of all levels to join a special May is Bike Month celebration on Thursday, May 29. This event will take place on the scenic Virginia Corridor Trail in Modesto, beginning at Roseburg Square next to O'Brien's Market.

Event Schedule:
Location: Virginia Corridor Trail, Roseburg Square (near O'Brien's Market)
Visiting & Information Session: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Recognition & Acknowledgments: 11:00 AM – 11:20 AM
Bike Ride on the Virginia Corridor Trail: 11:20 AM – 1:00 PM

After the ride, participants are welcome to visit the many restaurants and shops in Roseburg Square. Shaded seating and tables will be available at the plaza next to the Virginia Corridor Trail.

This ride is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists, celebrate active transportation as a healthy alternative to driving, and enjoy Modesto’s beautiful trail system. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, grab your bike and helmet and join the fun!
