Project Description
Implement Intersection Control Improvement at the intersection of State Route (SR) 152/Volta Rd, about two miles west of the City of Los Banos, in Merced County.

Purpose
The purpose of this project is to reduce the number and severity of broadside collisions.
Need
The need for this project is to address a pattern of broadside collisions has been identified at the intersection because of motorists’ failure to yield.
Funding Source
State Highway Operation and Protection Program (SHOPP) candidate.
