State Route 132 Waterford Sidewalk Project

Project Description

This project proposes to upgrade existing pedestrian facilities on State Route (SR) 132 (Yosemite Boulevard), from post mile 27.21 to 28.01 in the City of Waterford, in Stanislaus County to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The purpose of this project is to provide pedestrian accessibility and sidewalk continuity throughout this segment of the highway. The scope of work is to replace 1770 feet of existing sidewalk, curb, and gutter. Construct 290 feet of new sidewalk, curb, and gutter to fill the gap between the existing sidewalks located between Reinway Avenue and Pasadena Avenue.

Purpose and Need

The purpose of this project is to improve the accessibility of pedestrian facilities and bring existing pedestrian facilities, within the project limits, in compliance with current ADA standards.

The is an Authorized SHOPP Major project with funding code 201.361 Program in the 2021/2022 fiscal year.
