Men 1 Fish Passage
Caltrans proposes to replace two highway culverts with full-span bridges along State Route 1 (SR1) in Mendocino County. The project sites are located just north of Anchor Bay (post mile 4.64) and at Tregoning Drive near Fort Bragg (post mile 58.78).
The purpose of the proposed project is to remove fish passage barriers and will include constructing full-span bridges with wider shoulders and guardrails, removing the existing box culverts, making storm drainage culvert improvements and grading drainage banks and channels to enhance fish passage habitat.
Project Schedule
Construction is expected to begin in April 2027
