The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes the Culvert Rehabilitation and Fish Passage Project on U.S. 101 between Post Miles M0.0 and 46.5 in Del Norte County. The project would rehabilitate 20 drainage systems and remediate fish passage at two of the locations.

Timeline

Construction planned for 2028-2030

Traffic Impacts

Expected short-duration traffic delays when culverts are being replaced and longer delays at the proposed bridge on Delilah Creek. Lane closures and delays of up to 20 minutes are anticipated.
