Major roadwork scheduled Friday, November 7 through Thursday, November 13

The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change. Del Norte County 

  • U.S. 101 (3.8) – Drainage and pavement work are scheduled at the Klamath Beach Road interchange near Klamath. The northbound on and off-ramps will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should use alternate routes when necessary and expect minor delays. LC#C101FE
  • U.S. 101 (8.5/10.9) – Utility work is scheduled south of Trees of Mystery beginning Monday, September 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101XC
  • U.S. 101 (12.2/13.8) – Emergency work is scheduled between Wilson Creek Bluff and Rudisill Road weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Expect up to 15-minute delays. LC#C101DD
  • U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – The Dr. Fine Bridge Replacement Project is scheduled between the Smith River Overflow Bridge and S. Fred D. Haight Dr. weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA
  • Route 197 (4.5) – Utility work is scheduled near Ruby Van Deventer County Park beginning Wednesday, November 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C197AA

Humboldt County

  • Route 36 (4.1/4.6) – Construction upgrades near Carlotta are scheduled to continue. Expect 15-minute delays weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. LC#C36IA
  • Route 36 (15.7/16.3) – Slide response west of Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park will continue. Expect 10-minute delays. LC#T36HA 
  • Route 36 (19.6) – Emergency work west of Maple Grove will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Travelers should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C36JA
  • Route 36 (25.3/34.5) – Bridge work is scheduled between Little Larabee Creek Bridge and Butte Creek Bridge 4-116. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA 
  • Route 96 (12.1/22.3) – Utility work is scheduled in the Hoopa area. One-way traffic control will be in effect, generally from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some nighttime work from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C96BA
  • U.S. 101 (53.8) – Utility work is scheduled at the Eel River Bridge. Lane closure will be in effect. Expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101YC 
  • U.S. 101 (74.7/76.1) – Construction north of the Herrick interchange will continue. Expect slowdowns due to lane and periodic driveway closures. LC#C101CC
  • U.S. 101 (77.3/77.4) – Permit work is scheduled in Eureka between West Wabash Avenue and West 15th Street beginning Thursday night, November 6. Lane closures will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#P101HA
  • U.S. 101 (79/83.4) – Work is scheduled north of Eureka near the Indianola Cutoff. Work will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane closures will be in effect. Expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101FD
  • U.S. 101 (108.3/109.6) – Permit work is scheduled near Big Lagoon on Wednesday, November 5. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expect minor slowdowns. LC#P101HA
  • U.S. 101 (114.5/116.9) – Sign work is scheduled between Dry Lagoon and just south of Orick. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101GE
  • U.S. 101 (121.7/124.5) – Utility work is scheduled in the Orick area. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101XC
  • Route 169 (16.6/32.6) – Permit work is scheduled between Miller Lane and Lower Weitchpec School Road. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Expect 5-minute delays. LC#P169BA
  • Route 169 (16.9/30.2) – Drainage work is scheduled in multiple areas between Ha Amar Creek and Martins Ferry. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Expect 5-minute delays. LC#C169FA
  • Route 169 (24.2/26.7) – Drainage work is scheduled near Weitchpec on Friday, November 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C169FA
  • Route 169 (27.6/30.2) – Utility work is scheduled between Rube Creek Bridge and Martins Ferry beginning Monday, November 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect 15-minute delays. LC#C169CA
  • Route 169 (30.1/30.2) – Drainage work is scheduled near Martins Ferry on Friday, November 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C169FA
  • Route 200 (0.5/2.5) – Permit work is scheduled between the McKinleyville and Blue Lake areas beginning Wednesday, November 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P200AA
  • Route 211 (74.3/74.8) – Striping is scheduled, weather permitting, near Ferndale between Market Street and Port Kenyon Road beginning Monday, November 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C211BA
  • Route 254 (3.1/4) – Emergency work is scheduled near Phillipsville. Expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C254JA 
  • Route 254 (18.8) – Slide removal work is ongoing just north of Weott. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C254AA
  • Route 299 (12.5/14.2) – Pavement work is scheduled between Simpson Road and the eastbound chain-up area on Saturday, November 8. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Travelers should expect 15-minute delays. LC#C299RA
  • Route 299 (24.9/25.9) – Emergency work is scheduled east of Chezem Road on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Expect one-way traffic control and 10-minute delays. LC#C299GA 
  • Route 299 (32.1/32.5) – Construction is scheduled near the East Fork Willow Creek Bridge. Expect one-way traffic control weekdays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 10-minute delays. LC#C299LA

Lake County

  • Route 20 (1.0/3.1) – Permit work is scheduled near Blue Lakes. Work is set to begin Thursday, November 7, with shoulder closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#P20DA
  • Route 175 (17.7/18.5) – Permit work is scheduled near Hopland between Emerford Road and Humboldt Drive on Friday, November 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P175BA

Mendocino County 

  • Route 1 (0.5/0.6) – Culvert work will occur in Gualala near Center Street on Wednesday, November 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1GA
  • Route 1 (6.5/6.7) – Landscape work north of Anchor Bay at Gypsy Flat Road will occur on Friday, November 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1SA
  • Route 1 (9.3/9.5) – Road work south of Iversen Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1SA 
  • Route 1 (31.1/31.6) – Bridge work at the Elk Creek Bridge 10-120 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1WA
  • Route 1 (42.9/44.9)– Paving work from south of Pacific Reefs Road to north of Albion Little River Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect, and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1EB
  • Route 1 (43.3/44.2) – Road work near Spring Grove Road will occur on Thursday and Friday, November 6-7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1IB
  • Route 1 (44.2) – Tree work north of Albion Little River Road will occur on Wednesday and Thursday, November 5-6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
  • Route 1 (51.4/52.1) – Bridge work continues north of Mendocino at the Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Lansing Street to south of Road 500D. One-way traffic control will be in effect ,and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA
  • Route 1 (60.2/63.1) – Utility work is scheduled in the Fort Bragg area. Work is planned for overnight hours from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C1PA
  • Route 1 (64.2/73.6) – Permit work is scheduled north of Westport between Odom Lane and Pacific Star Winery beginning Monday, November 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
  • Route 1 (75.9/76.2) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA 
  • Route 20 (9.4) – Tree work east of Fort Bragg near Whiskey Springs will occur on Tuesday, November 4. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20AA
  • Route 20 (37.5/38.2) – Permit work will occur from east of Elledge Ranch Road to east of the Cold Creek Bridge 10-40 on November 8 and 9. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P20AA
  • U.S. 101 (27/31.5) – Utility work in Ukiah. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101KE
  • U.S. 101 (33.7/43.2) – Median barrier work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, November 11. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101QD
  • U.S. 101 (50.8/51.5) – Road work north of Willits will continue. Expect one-way traffic control from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays and 5-minute delays. LC#C101GA
  • U.S. 101 (55.4/59.4) – Road work from north of Big Trails Drive to north of the 162 junction will occur on Friday, November 7. A northbound lane closure will be in effec,t and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101BC 
  • U.S. 101 (62.5) – Permit work is scheduled near Sherwood Road on Saturday, November 8. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Travelers should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#P101GA
  • U.S. 101 (72.1/72.7) – Emergency work north of Laytonville at Woodruff Drive continues. Lane closures will be in effect, and motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#T101GA
  • (Off) U.S. 101 (82.5) – The northbound Empire Camp Rest Area remains closed for electrical work. LC#T101GA
  • U.S. 101 (86.5/87.5) – Emergency work continues south of Leggett. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#T101GA 
  • Route 162 (0.0/3.2) – Permit work is scheduled near Long Valley Creek Bridge and Helms Road in the Covelo area on Friday, November 7, and Wednesday, November 12. Expect one-way traffic control in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5-minute delays. LC#P162AA
  • Route 162 (7.9/8.4) – Bridge work at the Eel River Bridge 10-236 continues. Lane closures will be in effect, and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162HA
  • Route 162 (15.9/26.4) – Paving operations are scheduled between the Dos Rios area and the Covelo area beginning Monday, November 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C162EA
