Sacramento - Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway volunteers can earn up to $250 a month to clear litter from California’s highways as part of Governor Gavin Newsom’s $1.1 billion Clean California program.

In this Caltrans News Flash, Public Information Officer Hayden Manning shares how Adopt-A-Highway volunteers can earn up to $250 a month cleaning trash from the sides of California’s highways. This volunteer incentive will be available to eligible Adopt-a-Highway volunteers statewide from now through June 2024.
