SACRAMENTO — In this Caltrans News Flash, Caltrans and its partners encourage Nicholas Elementary School students during their Walk to School Day to strengthen the community, reduce air pollution, and increase safety and physical and mental well being for California's youngest travelers.
More than a hundred Nicholas Elementary School students participated in California's Walk to School Day with encouragement from Caltrans, the Sacramento Police Department, and WalkSacramento.
