SACRAMENTO Senate Bill 1, also known as SB 1, is providing more than $5 billion per year to address California's aging transportation system. In addition to improving transportation, SB 1 will also greatly enhance the economy by providing jobs and opportunities for small businesses across the state.

During National Small Business Week (April 29 – May 5), we'll learn in this Caltrans News Flash about the different types of small businesses that work on transportation projects and talk with small business advocates to find out what it is like to do business with Caltrans.
