North Lone Pine Pavement Project

 Project Information

The proposed North Lone Pine Pavement Project will restore the pavement of approximately 4.2 lane miles of U.S. 395 from Locust Street to 0.2 miles north of Cemetery Drive near the town of Lone Pine. This project will repair drainage infrastructure, upgrade pedestrian facilities to bring them into compliance with American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and enhance pedestrian crossing features. Details of the project include: 

  • Constructing a Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon 
  • Adding curb extensions and bulbouts
  • Upgrading crosswalks with current visibility standards
  • Reconstructing sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
  • Installing ADA-compliant driveways
  • Relocating utility poles
  • Upgrading guardrail
  • Upgrading traffic signs
  • Adding 6" skip rumble strips
  • Repairing and replacing drainage systems

Project Costs

The estimated cost of the North Lone Pine Pavement Project is $12,421,000.

  • Senate Bill (SB) 1 has provided $999,000 in funding.
