Project Description

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to build a roundabout at the intersection of State Route 180 and Dickenson Avenue, between post miles 47.4 and 47.8 in Fresno County.

Purpose

The purpose of the project is to improve safety at the intersection of State Route 180 and Dickenson Avenue.

Need

The project is needed to reduce the number and severity of collisions at the intersection as the collision rate at the intersection exceeds the statewide average.
