Q1) The remote-control valves are to be for recycled water per specs, does that mean the PVC plastic pipe should be purple for recycled water not clear? Please advise.

A1) No recycled water is available now but may be at a future date. Bid per contract documents.

Q2) Specifications under section 20-2.01B(3) says the sprinkler protectors used must be painted purple? Manufacture don’t sell any purple sprinkler protectors, can normal concrete blocks be acceptable. Please advise.

A2) Bid per contract documents. Refer to Standard Specifications section 1-1.01, “General”, “After Contract approval, submit documents and direct questions to the Engineer. Orders, authorizations, and requests to the Contractor are by the Engineer”

Q3) Are there any recycled warning signs on posts per spec 20-2.01B(3) and 82-3 required for this job?

A3) No recycled water is available currently no signs will be posted. Bid per contract documents.

Q4) Bid item 28 5' chain link gate (type CL-4), there is no detail given on this chain link gate? Is the gate temporary or permanent with concrete footings? Please provide detail and advise.

A4) The gate detail can be found in the 2018 Standard Plans, Plan A85A. Please bid in accordance with the bid documents.
