Bidders are cautioned that subsequent responses or contract addenda may affect or vary a response previously given.

Inquiry 1) Would a pre-cast reinforced concrete inlet and/or culvert be acceptable for this Project?

Response 1) Refer to the Special Provisions, standard plans list, and Standard Plans 2018 and bid per current contract documents. 9Oct19

Inquiry 2) We intend on bidding Project 10A2141 for the replacement of existing culverts next week and wanted to see if there is a formal bidders list that we need to be on or any other pre-qualifications required in order to bid the project.

Response 2) FISCAL does not provide bidders list like Bid Sync did. THE GENERAL BIDDERS INSTRUCTIONS / CHECKLIST in the Minor B bid package provides the contractor with a checklist for what should be included with their bid.

Inquiry 3) What Class of 19x 30” CRP is required for this work?

Response 3) Attention is directed to “Construction Details” sheet “C-1” of the Contract Plans.

Inquiry 4) Do we have to use a C-31 to draw and/or implement the traffic control plan?

Response 4) Attention is directed to “Temporary Traffic Control Systems” of the Standard Plans; Chapters 7 and Chapter 12 of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions; and Lane Closure Restriction Charts in Chapter 12 of the Special Provisions.

Inquiry 5) Where may we discharge upstream water that’s flowing through the culverts and existing DI that we’re replacing?

Response 5) Work will be performed when the Stream Channel is dry.
