The Oakland Coliseum station features a pedestrian bridge, connecting the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) light rail service with the Amtrak station and the Oakland Alameda Coliseum/Arena complex. The Oakland Coliseum station is also a transfer point to the BART shuttle to the Oakland International Airport (OAK). You can also take BART to the San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Amtrak

  • Bicycle boxes are not available at the Hayward Amtrak station.
  • Onboard: You can bring your bike on the Capitol Corridor as carry-on baggage. You can check in your bike with a station agent or conductor.

AC Transit

AC Transit allows bikes on most buses via the front bike racks. You can load and unload your bike at bus stops. Please visit the AC Transit Bikes on Board page for more information.

BART

Bikes are allowed on BART trains with the following exceptions:

  • Bikes are not allowed on crowded cars (there must be enough room to comfortably accommodate you and your bicycle)
  • Bikes are never allowed on the first car of any train
