District 4 Park and Ride Lots
Park and ride lots offer a convenient and safe location to transfer from a single passenger vehicle to a local or regional transit bus, carpool, or vanpool. Ridesharing saves you time and money, while reducing traffic congestion and energy consumption. For additional rideshare planning resources and a comprehensive list for San Francisco Bay Area park and ride lots, including lots operated by other local and regional agencies, please visit SF Bay Area 511 at https://511.org/.
Lot Use and Parking Restrictions
Park and ride lots are to be used for rideshare parking and by those transferring to other modes of transportation. They are not available for residential, commercial, long-term parking, recreational, or any other general purpose use. Parking at Caltrans park and ride lots is free of charge. You may park your vehicle for no more than 72 consecutive hours. Additional restrictions prohibit parking for more than 24 consecutive hours at Manzanita Park and Ride and prohibit parking between 2 and 5 AM at Page Mill Park and Ride.
Loitering, camping, vending, or parking of vehicles 30 feet or longer is prohibited at all park and ride lots (CA Veh. Code § 22518). Vehicles parked outside of marked parking stalls or parked for more than 72 hours may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense (CA Veh. Code § 22651(k)).
